The sustainable cultivation of vines

Sustainable agriculture is a method of cultivation that aims to reduce the amount of pesticides used for healthy nutrition and respect for the environment.

Definition

Sustainable agriculture aims to control, in the best possible way, at the level of the farm as a whole, the positive or negative effects of agricultural activity on the environment, while ensuring the quality of food products and maintaining or even improving the economic profitability of farms.

Set up

All phytosanitary actions are reasoned in partnership with the Chamber of Agriculture.

Once a week, a meeting is held in the field with several winegrowers and a technician to analyse the evolution of the vines and the need to intervene or not.

This allows the number of inputs to be reduced to a minimum in order to respect the environment.

The weather plays a major role in the decision making process. In all cases, nature is the strongest, and it is nature that sets the tone of the millésime.
