The Gaillac Wine Festival

The Gaillac Wine Festival in Parc Foucaud

For 40 years, for a weekend (usually the first weekend in August), the Château Foucaud park has been the setting for the Gaillac Wine Festival.

It is a beautiful moment of meetings, tasting of wines and gourmet products, games for children, concerts and entertainment with its traditional final fireworks display.

Sanitary pass required!

Antigen tests will be offered at the entrance by the civil protection.

 

The public will be required to present at the entrance:

  • A Covid-19 vaccine (two doses + 15 days after the second dose)
  • A negative PCR test less than 72 hours old
  • A negative antigenic test less than 48 hours old

The next edition will take place from August 6 to 8, 2021!

Friday August 6, 2021:

  • 2 p.m.-8 p.m. Opening of the Village, Parc Foucaud
  • 7:00 p.m. Aperitif concert organized by the Coq en Fête association, in the Foucaud park
  • 9pm Aperitif Concert Suite


Saturday August 7, 2021:

  • 10am Opening of the 43rd edition
  • 11am Official Inauguration
  • 4 pm-6pm Animations - Taste workshop, initiation to tasting ...
  • 6.30 p.m. Concert with the groups: La Bedoune and Trio 80's
  • 9:00 p.m. Suite concert with Fullsweet


Sunday August 8, 2021:

  • 10am Mass des Vignerons at L’Abbaye St Michel with parade in the town of Gaillac accompanied by the Bandas Les Jazz’amis
  • 4 pm-6pm Animations - Taste workshop, initiation to tasting ...
  • 6.30 p.m. Concert with the group Pickettes Quartet and Dapasong

The "Printemps du Gaillac" is more than 200 professionals, passionate about their land, who welcome you to share the culture and wealth of Gaillac.

A whole program

Come and meet our friends from the Vignerons Indépendants from all over France and spend a unique moment of exchange! On the programme, visits, tastings of wines from Alsace, Beaujolais, Champagne, Muscadet de Corbières and Gaillac. Aperitif concert on Saturday evening, gastronomic meal on Sunday noon... So don't hesitate, we are waiting for you on July 1st and 2nd!

The springtime of Gaillac

For a weekend, come and discover the Gaillac Primeur and all the wines of Gaillac!

From the third Thursday of November, the official day of the release of Gaillac Primeur.
All the winegrowers open their doors for 4 days.

This year, the number of events will be reduced due to the health situation we are experiencing. Nevertheless, we will be there to welcome you and to share our profession of winegrower with you.

The programme at Domaine Vayssette:

From Thursday to Sunday, come and taste our Gaillac primeur and all our wines.

From Thursday 18th to Sunday 21st November:

  • Tasting of Gaillac primeur and all our wines
    from 9 am to 8 pm
  • Exhibition of paintings
  • 7pm After Work hosted by GrattDeLaPatt

Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 November 2021:

Gourmet market:

  • The ducks of the good old days,
  • the honey factory of Puycelsi,
  • Cheeses from the Fabre Dairy,
  • the delicatessen of Lacaune,
  • Maison Pechauzi ,
  • cakes and jams
  • and the pastry chef Stéphane Marty from Carmaux

Guided tour of the estate: departure at 11:00 and 15:30

  • Walk through the vineyards with explanations on the grape varieties and the HVE label (High Environmental Value)
  • Visit of the cellar with explanations on the vinification methods
